ISRI is the only Islamic School in the State of Rhode Island. It was established in 2004. The school is PreK-8th
grade approved by the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE). It is also accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). ISRI implements the Common Core State Standard. In addition, ISRI has a non-traditional curriculum for teaching Qur'an, Arabic, and Islamic Studies (QIA).
